Sh*t happens

I apologize in advance to my more gentle readers (yes, you Nana), but this is reality and it sucks. Nubbin has been regressing and now poops in his pants, again. He's been doing it every day since last Thursday. I did have success yesterday, but it required copious amounts of sugar.

How do you retrain a child who has been successfully pooping for a couple of months. And by successful, I mean not having to be told to poop, wiping himself, flushing the toilet, washing his hands AND turning off the light in the bathroom. The answer: no clue.

As my friend put it, 'Sounds like you have a behavioral problem and good luck figuring that out.' No sympathy for the devil. none.

Dude. That sucks. If he doesn't like taking medicine, you could act as if he must be sick if he's pooing in his pants and if he's sick then he will have to take medicine. But that's a slippery slope. And we want our kids to take their medicine when they need it, right?
