As we were finishing dinner, Nubbin held up his outstretched hand. He pointed to his index finger and said, 'This is me.' Next, he pointed to his middle finger and said, 'This is Charlie because he's the biggest' and then he said his ring finger was Graham. Then, he tapped his pinky finger and said, 'And THIS is Fafa!' because Fafa is the smallest.
Welcome to the Wolfe den. This is a place where friends and family can get updates about our 2 cubs and a view of what it's like to be leader of the pack.

Say my name... say my name...
1/2 CharlieGraham: 'Fafa, you're a bad guy!'
Fafa: 'NO! I not bad guy, I FAFA!'

Camp Wolfe - Day 3
Preschool. 5 minutes after they got up, they were dressed. 15 minutes after they got downstairs, they were fed. 10 minutes before we had to get in the car, they had shoes, coats and backpacks... Yes, we were ready... REALLY ready. Charlie summed it up best when he said, 'Why we at preschool so early?' I glance at the clock and it says 8:48. I really need to slow down and enjoy the day. *insert sound of birds singing*
After preschool, I thought about making lunch and then my autopilot took me to McDonald's. After lunch, we made Shrinky dinks. I traced a rocket ship out and let the kids color it and then they made medals. I was told I didn't spell anyone's name right on the medal...'That not how my teacher do it' spoke one... 'I can DO it!' said the other, and the third 'Put it right here... no, not there... HERE!' Can you guess who's who?
My schedule told me to to take the kids to the park at 4. Well, I just didn't think that I would enjoy the beautiful day if I was running around after kids at a park I've never been to, so we stayed home... okay, you all win this round since the next 4 days will be spent in our driveway too. me - 0, every other sane person - 1.
Dinner. disaster. Lima beans were not a huge hit, but 3/4 of the tots tried at least one.
No bath tonight. losing steam. kids in bed. Getz kids did great, Wolfe kids were not so easy. As if to seal the crazy deal, Husband and I then cleaned out our bedroom of clutter and such. Go Team Wolfe!!
Camp Wolfe - Day 2
Church. I took 4 kids to church. I must be going crazy. I made the rookie mistake of telling them on the way to church that we would be going to Monkey Joe's in the afternoon. Every other minute I hear 1/2 CharlieGraham say, 'Are we going to Monkey Joe's now?' The minutes in between are taken up by the other 1/2 asking if we're going to Monkey Joe's now. Nubbin and Fafa were still stunned that they were dressed and going someplace on a Sunday morning, so they were blessedly quiet.
After church, it's lunch, nap for Fafa and then we're off to the races... I mean, slides. Monkey Joe's is packed and I'm thinking we're in for it... yep, Husband and I ended up sweating like pigs trying to keep up with all of them... We kept having the same conversation with each other.
Parent 1: 'Have you seen (insert name here)?'
Parent 2: 'No. I thought you had him.'
Parent 1: 'Well. I had him and then I turned around for 10 seconds and now he's gone.'
Parent 2: 'I'll find him, but where are the others?'
Both parents wander off frantically without finishing the conversation...
Fafa was one of the big kids today. He kept up with all of them. We're still in shock that we no longer have a baby.
Back at home, it's dinner. Hot dogs, Mac n' cheese, apple sauce and carrot sticks. They all ate very well. Then baths (I think we're going to have to do this every night... boys are stinky..phew!) and a 'Mighty Machines' show. Then off to bed. Not a peep out of anyone. As a reward, Husband and I gorged ourselves on ice cream and m& m's :) Let's keep our fingers crossed for tomorrow...

Camp Wolfe - Day 1
So begins the great adventure. The boys were very excited to see one another. We'll see if this lasts until next Saturday :)
Our first event was the Weatherstone Carnival. When we were almost at the front door, Fafa told us that he had pooped. We walked and didn't bring anything with us, so Husband took Fafa home to change the diaper. The boys and I found our way to the golf game. 1/2 CharlieGraham made a hole in one, the other 1/2 made the golf ball fly across the room and Nubbin was too embarassed to hit very hard, but they all got prizes. Next, we found Husband and Fafa and headed to the lollipop tree, hockey shoot, penny toss, bouncy slide and duck pond. The boys got loads of candy, a kuzoo and lip whistles. sugar and noisemakers... what were we thinking?
We headed back to the house and saved a worm drowning in a puddle on the way as well as checked out a huge ant hill. Once we got home, we took out the bikes, but it started to rain. We pulled out the cars and had a tricycle derby in the garage. Then it was inside for 'Curious George' and pepperoni pizza.
I gave them baths and Husband got them dressed in pj's. Story time was supposed to be 4 stories, but CharlieGraham said they wanted to go to bed... now. so, lights out. see you boys tomorrow.

Origin of all things
Nubbin was washing his hands today and asked me an interesting question....'Mommy, what animal does water come from?'

Stuff this
The boys drew the shapes themselves on paper and I cut it out. We didn't have any cotton, so we ended up stuffing them with toilet paper (it's better than my first idea which was to take the cotton from the unopened box of tampons under the sink). They told me where to glue the buttons. So, maybe we need to work on placement, but we tried.

Live, laugh, love...
I kneaded you and fell flat on my face...
mouth to mouth
Fafa gives open mouth kisses.... You end up feeling like your mouth has been swallowed by a fish. Yuck.

Real men do...
Husband was making polite conversation today about his bodily functions and Nubbin felt the need to throw in his two cents...
Husband: 'Whew... my farts smell really stinky today.'
Nubbin: 'Sure do, dad... sure do.'
