Mother's helper

Here's a picture of Fafa feeding SB a banana piece. Now, if I could just get him to feed himself, I'd be home free.

Jump, slide, celebrate

We were invited to our cousin CB's 3rd birthday in Virginia. After getting up at 4:30 a.m. to drive the 5 hours and get there by the start of the party, the kids were ready to let loose. They were SO excited to see CB and his little brother, SB, and really enjoyed themselves at the party.

Fafa was fearless and even went down the super vertical slide. It wasn't until later that I realized that he wasn't tall enough when I saw the 'must be this tall' sign. CharlieGraham were there so Nubbin was bold and took chances on slides that he would have never tried if he didn't have his 'security blanket boys' there too. Thanks to the Best Parents for having us and letting us stay with them... we really enjoyed our visit with you. Hope your house is back to normal after all the chaos :)

More Monster Trucks...

We got there very early to see the trucks up close... too early and ended up spending way more than we should have on food just to keep the kids entertained.

Nubbin didn't want to wear the earplugs at first, but somehow holding your hands over your ears just isn't as effective.

yep, we had awesome seats. Thanks Daddy!

Pure exhaustion on the way home. Notice how he's still holding onto his flag even as he's sleeping.

Are you ready for Monster Trucks!

Husband took Nubbin to his first Monster Truck show when Nubbin was 21 months old. It is now a tradition in the Wolfe house to attend every year. This year, Fafa and I got to experience the adrenaline rush that is 'Monster Truck Jam' with Husband and Nubbin.

If you had been at the show with us, you would have witnessed Fafa waving at every truck and everyone in the stands, Husband with a permanent grin on his face because he's just so happy that we're experiencing this all as a family, Nubbin silently taking it all in and me screaming my head off because I wanted 'Predator' to win over 'Bounty Hunter'. I surprised myself and will definitely be coming back every year. We had a blast! Maybe next year we'll get to see 'Grave Digger' or 'Monster Mutt'... 'Maximum Destruction' would be cool too. Yes, I know way more than I should about monster trucks.

If you build it...

My neighbor gave us a snow man making kit. No joke. This kit comes complete with buttons, carrot nose, pipe, hat and scarf. I was determined to use it after getting tips from Sissy. See my attempt at left. I built it... it looked pathetic... it melted.

The big white sandbox

Fafa had a great day yesterday. We brought out the dump trucks and backhoes and he just dug around in the snow until his poor cheeks turned bright red and he was done for the day... his cheeks are still red today.

Someday, he'll climb to great heights

Is it just me or does Nubbin look like he's just climbed Mount Everest? He looks like a little sherpa with that hat on... heehee :)
